Her channel combines nerd culture and comedy to keep her audience laughing and learning, and Sabrina brings the same energy to this week’s episode. Sabrina Cruz is a Toronto-based video producer and personality best known for her YouTube channel NerdyAndQuirky. First discovered by the John & Hank Green in 2013, Sabrina has gone on to amass an audience of 180 000 subscribers. With videos on her channel ranging from awkward experiences, life advice, and interesting trivia, she combines nerd culture and comedy to keep her audience laughing and learning.
Also an undergraduate student studying mathematics and economics at the University of Toronto, Sabrina often shares the humour and horrors she finds in academic life. Sabrina can also be found hosting YouTube series on Crash Course Kids and Snarled.

Rebekah Tilley is the assistant vice president of communication and marketing for the University of Iowa Center for Advancement (UICA). In that role she supports fundraising and alumni engagement efforts for the university, including its CASE Gold winning Iowa Magazine, and serves UICA in a variety of strategic communication efforts.

Previously she was the director of strategic communication for the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, and the director of communication for the University of Kentucky College of Law. She is a Kentucky native and a proud alum of the University of Kentucky.
