Ease your student supervision speed bumps.

Higher Education

I help higher education professionals – and the students they serve – take the guesswork out of social media strategy and digital leadership.

Engage your community, exactly where they are.

When your digital presence reflects your real-world priorities, managing it isn’t busy work—it’s a powerful way to amplify your institutional voice.

To do this well, you must:

Understand how students are using social media so you can meet them where they are.

Engage with your community authentically and transparently through online storytelling.

Let me show you how.

I offer a variety of research-based and field-tested tools to help higher education professionals create vibrant, engaging, and inclusive digital communities. I do this through:

Speaking & Facilitating

Every year I deliver engaging, research-based keynotes, workshops and trainings (both in-person and online) to institutions across the country.

Whether you need help evaluating your current social media practices or you’re ready to initiate a campus-wide digital culture shift, I offer strategic guidance and customized consulting solutions that will empower you to reach your goals.

Group Programs

I strongly believe in the power of our collective knowing as higher ed professionals. That’s why I created spaces, like the digital community building cohort, where we can share wisdom, support each other with best practices, and lead online, together.

Executive Coaching

In a one-on-one setting we can get a lot done. I am passionate about helping leaders refine their purpose and develop a clear, sustainable strategy for bringing it online in a way that feels authentic, meaningful, and personal to them.

We selected Josie to kick off the new and improved eduWeb Summit with a goal of forming a group of “attendees” into a community. She absolutely knocked it out of the park and set the perfect tone for the Summit. Josie knows how to blend solid scholarship and data with meaningful, heartfelt, and effective insights and strategies that inspired and delighted her audience in equal measure.
