Navigating the digital and social age takes courage. As soon as your campus masters one social media platform your students have adopted another. As student affairs educators we must quickly find our capacity to lead both online and in-person despite emerging technologies. Using the results of two studies on how senior student affairs officers, as well as college student leaders use and perceive social media, I used this talk to reveal how the entire field can approach digital leadership and education.
